Terms of Purchase and Refunds
Thank you for choosing Duke Nutrition Experts to improve your health. We want you to be thrilled with your care and your outcomes. Let us know if you need anything else to make that happen. We will not quit on getting you what you need.
To be fair to all our clients who want to see us as soon as possible we adhere to the following cancellation policy. Canceling/rescheduling an appointment is allowed without penalty if all of the following conditions are met.
You call and speak with a scheduler or your dietitian to reschedule. An email or instant message alone is not sufficient. We need to be able fill that availability with other clients who want to be seen as soon as possible.
You must cancel/reschedule the prior business day during business hours. No same day cancellations. After hours or weekend cancellations for the next business day will be treated as a same day cancellation.
If you do not meet all of the criteria stated about when canceling or rescheduling, you will be charged the full amount as if you had been at the appointment.
No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that you will achieve any specific health or other results. While our programs have helped many people overcome health challenges they could not have achieved with other methods, results are not guaranteed.
Correcting health through our programs is a combination of lab results, expert nutrition guidance, and the cooperation of the client to follow the program as directed for the entire duration. Discontinuation of the program before it is completed will negate the benefits of the program and this is nonrefundable.
Results of other clients who participate in our programs are not guaranteed for each client and are a combination of the client working with their doctor and following our program without deviation. Even with all of these in place it is not a guarantee of results as each client's conditions are unique and their results will vary.
(This includes Lenio Plus, Complete, or Ultimate.)
We ask that you give us the opportunity to meet your needs first. If for any reason we are unable to meet your needs after you purchase our program we will proceed to issue a refund. All of the terms listed below have to be met in order to have a refund issued:
Your refund has been requested within 30 days of the purchase date.
You have not sent in blood, urine, saliva, or other specimens.
If you have waited longer than 30 days or if you have already sent in specimens then there will be no refund. Refunds will not be issued for services delivered outside of a program.
Cancel any time.
Full refund if canceled within the first 7 days of sign-up.
If canceling a 12 or 3 month subscription before the 12 or 3 months have been fulfilled you will be refunded for any unused months minus the discount of the previous months used.
Insurance Coverage Disclaimer
A quote of benefits and/or authorization does not guarantee payment or verify eligibility with your insurance company. All payments of benefits are subject to all terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the clients contract at time of service.
Your health insurance company will only pay for services that they determine to be “reasonable and necessary.” If your health insurance company determines that a particular service is not reasonable and necessary, or that a particular service is not covered under the plan, your insurance company will deny payment for that service. We suggest to all clients that they contact their insurance to confirm that these services are covered. Under this arrangement, you are responsible for paying your any non-covered portions, and any deductible you have yet to cover. In addition, if your insurance company does not pay for our services, you agree to pay for the services provided by our office.
By agreeing to this policy you are swearing the following: “I understand that my health insurance company may deny payment for the services identified above, for the reasons stated. If my health insurance company denies payment, I agree to be personally and fully responsible for payment. I also understand that if my health insurance company does make payment for services, I will be responsible for any co-payment, deductible, or coinsurance that applies.”
Purchases from an Affiliate
Any purchase made through a third-party affiliate is subject to the affiliate’s terms and conditions. Any request for refunds should be made directly to the affiliate from whom the product or service was purchased. Be sure to save your invoice and receipts from any affiliate purchase so that we may direct you to the proper party should an issue arise.
Failure to Pay
In the event the client fails to make payment of the invoice price or any portion thereunder when due, Duke Nutrition Experts shall have the right to: (1) suspend performance with respect to any pending order or shipment of products or services, and (2) employ an attorney to collect the balance due and client agrees to pay all collection costs and expenses incurred by Duke Nutrition Experts, including Duke Nutrition Experts’ reasonable attorney fees.
By purchasing any item, product or service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not purchase anything, or enter into any transaction with us. We reserve the right at any time, at our sole discretion, to change or otherwise modify this policy without prior notice; however, the date of any effective changes shall be reflected at the bottom of this page and upon request we will provide you with information regarding any changes made.
